Meeting Notes writes up a long recording in full and emails the notes when the meeting is completed, and a training now carries its own direction, cover photo and published deck.
Abarca 21 sept 2026 – 22 sept 2026
- A long meeting recording is now written up in full instead of falling back to a short basic extract.
- Meeting notes are emailed to the participants automatically when a completed meeting is saved, once its summary and sign-off are both in place.
- A completed meeting saves with its sign-off date still blank, a summary still being written finishes even if you leave the page, and a meeting that already has its transcript no longer offers to record again.
- A training with no title or description asks what its presentation should cover and who it is for, and remembers that direction for later generations.
- A training can take a free, credited photo as its cover, and a cover you chose yourself is kept instead of being replaced by an automatic one.
- Publishing a training also publishes the slide deck attached to it.
- A generation that fails says why straight away instead of a general message after a long wait, and a presentation the model shapes incorrectly is planned again automatically.
- A person whose name carries a single initial can be chosen in people fields, and linking several suppliers to an audit at once saves every one of them.
Meeting Notes can now record a meeting and write it up for you, and presentations are built on a template you choose.
Abarca 17 sept 2026 – 20 sept 2026
- You can run a meeting from start to finish in Meeting Notes — start it, let it capture what is said in this browser or in the CAT-Scribe app, and finish it when you are done.
- When a meeting finishes, its summary, decisions and action items are written for you, with each action item matched to its owner and due date.
- New presentations are built on a template you choose, in colours your company sets, so a deck keeps the look you picked.
- A presentation that does not pass its quality check is no longer saved, and a generation that fails now tells you why.
- Tasks and maintenance work orders show the name of the person who created them.
- The calendar can be filtered by module, and a task's due date shows on the day you chose, wherever you are.
- Records created at the very same moment always get their own separate id.
The dashboard risk score now reflects what is actually outstanding, and Your Risk is calculated from your own work.
Abarca 15 sept 2026 – 17 sept 2026
- Resolving a serious safety incident now lowers your safety risk score.
- Training risk is now measured against the people who owe training rather than the number of courses on file.
- You can now record an expiry or review date when uploading a document, and documents past that date raise your document risk.
- Incident closing time is now measured to the moment an incident was actually resolved.
- Gaps still outstanding on your current audits now raise the document part of your risk score.
- Your Risk on the dashboard is now calculated from your own work — the tasks assigned to you, incidents you were involved in, and documents shared with your department.
Tasks can now be shared across a whole team, form records and document numbers tell the truth about what was asked and issued, and generated presentations arrive ready to use.
Abarca 6 sept 2026 – 12 sept 2026
- A task can be assigned to several people at once, including everyone in a department or team, as one shared task that any of them can complete.
- A meeting can be recorded live, with a summary, follow-up tasks and a team-channel post created from it.
- Opening a published form version shows that exact revision as it was published, and every fill dialog links straight to that form's records.
- A completed form record lists every question the form asked, including its sections, and sections and saved questions survive an edit.
- The Documents library lists completed form records rather than the blank templates behind them, and record numbers are checked against the ones already issued.
- A generated presentation arrives with a downloadable copy and slide previews you can open straight away, and follows your company's visual style consistently.
- Supplier document uploads keep working through long periods of heavy use and appear in the tree straight away.
- Sign-in and permission checks are tighter across the platform, and a spreadsheet export treats every cell as data.
Document attachments are handled more safely and far more reliably, audit progress reflects only verified work, and what you record about your company reaches the AI that writes for you.
Abarca 3 sept 2026 – 6 sept 2026
- The contents of a document you attach are treated as information to read, never as instructions to follow.
- Attaching a document is more reliable: presentations, spreadsheets and text files are read in full, and a file that cannot be accepted now says why.
- Sending feedback from the assistant fits on one screen and scrolls properly when there is a lot to say.
- Audit progress reflects only requirements that have actually been verified, and hovering explains what the figure means.
- Requirement actions are gathered into a single menu, and a requirement can be sent back for rework or reopened after it has been verified.
- Document Generator works from your real document taxonomy, and category counts show the documents actually in each category.
- Brand Identity and Skills are now real company settings, and what you record there reaches the documents and presentations produced for you.
- Across Maintenance, CAT-ALOG and Sanitation, the menu shows only the items your role can open.
Sending feedback works again for everyone, licences and contracts gain a named owner with expiry reminders, and creating documents with AI is steadier.
Abarca 2 sept 2026 – 3 sept 2026
- Sending feedback works again for everyone — submissions were being rejected before they were saved, so nothing written was reaching us.
- Feedback you send is now tracked centrally, so it can be picked up and its status updated, and you see that status on your own Feedback screen.
- Licences and contracts now have a named owner who can keep their own record up to date, and reminders go out before one expires.
- Contracts can be deleted permanently once they are no longer needed.
- Importing an item sheet no longer stops on a duplicate code — the row causing it is named so you can correct just that line.
- Documents created with AI stay put: creating a template makes exactly one template, and a document that is still saving is no longer reported as missing.
- Gap audit checklists count correctly, items can be unselected, and findings are linked to the checklist item they came from.
- The audit dashboard shows what is due this month instead of a single next-audit date.
Riley keeps the conversation that produced an item, decisions on AI-created work reach every generator as they happen, and a finished-goods sheet imports.
Abarca 1 sept 2026
- Your conversation with Riley is kept with the item it produced, so reopening that item shows the discussion behind it.
- A decision on something created with AI reaches every generator as it happens, and returning to the list of assets keeps your place in it.
- A sheet of finished goods now imports, alongside raw material, packaging and label sheets.
- A document whose text could not be read is retried, rather than being accepted in that state permanently.
- The audit schedule editor prefills the planned date, and its buttons and menus match the rest of the product.
- A module running as its own application is recognised by its own web address, so its pages and inline images load.
Riley can answer from your own company documents, drawing only on what you are allowed to see. Work created with AI survives a refresh and updates live as colleagues edit it, and access is tighter in three places.
Abarca 31 ago 2026 – 1 sept 2026
- Riley answers questions about your company’s own documents, drawing only on the documents you are allowed to see — including supplier documents and scanned files it can now read.
- Work you create with AI survives a page refresh or a dropped connection, and a form updates as a colleague edits it without anyone reloading.
- An approver can open the item assigned to them and see who asked for what and why, request changes with a reason, and can no longer rewrite the submission they are approving.
- Presentations are art-directed with real charts, every deck is drawn by one renderer, and flow chart decision shapes are sized to fit their labels.
- Form Builder can draw on your company’s documents, keeps an attached file visible in the conversation, and reports a permission problem as one rather than as a failure to save.
- A manager with view-only access to Roles can no longer change a role’s scope, and scope shows a lock where it cannot be edited.
- A signed-in session is tied to the organization it was issued for, and a file attached to something created with AI is visible only to people who can see the item itself.
- Two finished goods can no longer be saved with the same item code, supplier risk scores agree wherever they appear, and an audit task can be linked to more than one requirement.
Everything created with AI now follows one approval path with one approver, and every approval round is recorded. Form Builder, presentations and documents keep your work and its version history, and access is tighter across the product.
Abarca 20 ago 2026 – 31 ago 2026
- Content created with AI is now visible only to people in the department that owns it. Items created earlier have no department, so they stay visible to the person who created them and to administrators.
- Everything created with AI follows a single approval path routed to exactly one approver, and every approval round is recorded and shown, including who acted and what they decided.
- Form Builder saves drafts as you work and versions them, reads the files you attach when generating a form, and its list filters and Word export show what the form actually carries.
- Generating a presentation now completes reliably, your work on a deck is saved with its version history, and every deck keeps its own identifier.
- Documents you write by hand are saved like any other document, a stored document can be opened directly in the AI editor, and search returns only the documents you are allowed to see.
- A training quiz now enforces the number of attempts it was set up with, quiz answers stay hidden until you pass or reach your final attempt, and a certificate shows the trainee’s own name.
- People below Owner and Administrator are limited to their own department’s records, and nobody can be granted more access to a module than their manager has.
- Location is now chosen from the sites set up in Company Settings instead of being typed by hand, and you are no longer asked for your password while your session is still valid.
HACCP plans are easier to author and approve, access to plans and results now follows the person, the OSHA Form 301 prints the incident it names, and My Trainings shows your own record rather than the whole company's.
Abarca 14 ago 2026 – 19 ago 2026
- HACCP plan editing now happens in a focused modal, the Process Flow Diagram is generated for you and opens in a viewer you can read, and anyone given an approval or sign-off role is notified.
- Access now follows the person. A HACCP plan opens only for those assigned to it, only someone with HACCP access can sign it off, quiz results stay with the learner and their trainers, and suppliers see only their own.
- The OSHA Form 301 preview now shows the incident it names, prints on its own at a readable size, and takes witnesses directly from People. The affected person is notified and can open the incident from there.
- My Trainings now shows your own progress and quiz results instead of the whole company's. Quiz questions can be imported in bulk, overview details are editable, and a participant row opens their training record.
- Suppliers are now emailed and notified when you request a document. Changing the supplier clears a raw material that no longer applies, and a failed request says so in place instead of failing quietly.
- A facility's Shift Schedule is now picked from your Shift Settings and can hold several shifts, and Business Units come from your active Departments. Direct Reports can be managed, and Org Chart links work again.
- Contract owners, departments and reviewers are now chosen from your real people instead of typed by hand, the Licenses and External Contacts tables scroll properly, and Quality Event downloads are complete again.
- Dark mode now reads clearly across HACCP, Safety Incidents, Quality Events, Task Management, Change Log, Company Settings, Departments, Suppliers, Contracts and Licenses.
Safety incidents save reliably again, CAT-ALOG permissions set in CAT-I now take effect, and License ownership is tied to real people who are notified when assigned.
Abarca 13 ago 2026 – 14 ago 2026
- Logging a safety incident now saves reliably. Previously an incident could be rejected without ever being written while the form appeared to succeed, so the entry was silently lost.
- The CAT-ALOG permission you set for someone in CAT-I now takes effect. Previously the change saved and displayed correctly, but their access inside CAT-ALOG still followed their general CAT-I role.
- License ownership is now tied to real CAT-I people. You choose an owner from those who can actually open Organization, their name opens their profile, and owners can see the licenses assigned to them.
- Being made the owner of a License now notifies that person, on first assignment and when ownership moves — the same as tasks, training and meeting actions.
- You can now edit a saved License note in place. It keeps the original author and date, instead of deleting the note and adding it back as a new one.
- The Agenda tab of an audit now has working filters, including a date range. Opening Filters there previously showed an empty panel.
- Dark mode now reads clearly across Departments, Teams, Incidents, Gaps and Licenses. Several dialogs, selectors, cards and buttons had low contrast or borders that vanished.
Contract staffing agencies can now be recorded against the people who work for them, and adding a user tells you whether their sign-in details actually reached them.
Abarca 12 ago 2026 – 13 ago 2026
- When you add or edit a contract employee, you can now record the agency that supplies them, chosen from your Service suppliers.
- When you add someone, CAT-I now tells you whether their temporary password actually reached them by email, and says plainly when it did not so you know to pass it on yourself.
- Compliance Review rows no longer show a stray fragment beside the selection checkbox.
- New Ingredient now opens in a dialog over the Ingredients register instead of replacing it with a separate page.
- Opening an ingredient from the Ingredients DB now shows it in a pop-up over the list instead of replacing the list with a separate page.
- Opening a label record now shows one review workspace instead of several separate boxes.
This release lets you recover your own password from the sign-in screen, and makes the temporary-worker badge and Production Plan progress reliable for the people who use them every day.
Abarca 11 ago 2026 – 12 ago 2026
- You can now reset your own password from the sign-in screen: request a code by email, then choose a new password without waiting for an administrator.
- When an administrator resets your password, the temporary password is now emailed to you directly, so you no longer have to wait for someone to pass it on by hand.
- The temporary-worker badge now shows the same, correct status on every crew and roster screen, so a temporary worker is identified consistently wherever crew is shown.
- Packaging Leads can now record progress on the Production Plan themselves, ticking Test Assy, Prep-Batch and Produced and entering what was made, instead of needing a Supervisor.
This release adds video training materials, clearer access choices per person, and a simpler place to catch up on what changed in each deployment.
Abarca 1 ago 2026 – 10 ago 2026
- The version control in the sidebar now opens a simpler Release Notes panel that lists only what shipped in each deployed version.
- A person can now be given no access at all to Maintenance, Sanitation, or Labels and Nutrition.
- The Manufacturing and Quality Control access choices in a person’s profile now say what they do.
- Videos can now be attached to a training.
- Searching by a document number now finds the document.
- Team members with a Contract employment type now show as temporary staff on the MES team roster, and switching them to permanent clears that automatically.
- A training's Participants tab and Enrolled count now show each person once, so re-assigning someone who already finished the training no longer makes the participant count climb.
- Financial Audit now explains a failed refresh in plain language instead of showing an internal error code.
CAT-I now shows its product version in the app and brings all release notes together in one place.
Abarca 30 jul 2026
- The current CAT-I product version is shown at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Selecting the version opens the release notes, a single place to catch up on what changed.
- Release notes are grouped by version and release date, newest first.
